Walthamstow
Potters House Cult
(London, England)
ACTIVIST ESCAPES ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION BY PSYCHOTIC PASTOR AJALA.
Extremist
minister in premeditated attack on protester.
Apr 22, 2007
A protester has been the victim of a dramatic attempted abduction near a Potter's House church in London by Psycho pastor Peter Ajala.
The prtester was putting up placards and distributing leaflets at around 9:50p.m yesterday evening near the Potter's House, South London, when a group of men from the church, which included the pastor, ambushed him after lying in wait. A black can raced up and the protester was cut off as two men, including pastor Pastor Ajala, jumped out and unsuccessfully tried to get him.
The activist, who was acting alone, ran off down the street with Ajala in hot pursuit. The Potter's House pastor was heard baiting him saying, "You can't outrun me! Look, he's trying to outrun me. You can't get away!" As the fleeing protester made his way up the road his path was cut off by two or three men who were waiting for him. Ajala tried to catch him but the Activist managed to double back, avoiding Ajala and the gang laying in wait. Ajala was heard to shout, "Grab him!" to another man who appeared at the other end of the street and despite an attept to dodge him, the activist was grabbed and a tustle ensued.
The assaulting disciple demanded that he hand over the bag and refused repeated demands that he let him go. At that point Ajala caught up and ordered his disciples to take him where nobody could see them with the words, " Now, let's take him back to the church." At this point the frightened protester managed to break free and another chase ensued through the darkened streets of South London.
The drama continued as the protester heard Ajala shout "Don't let him get away" and a gang of men ran after him. The activist thought he had given the pursuing group of disciples and Ajala the slip by running up a pedestrianised walkway. Suddenly, Ajala's car pulled up at the top end of the path as the protester hid himself. After waiting for around twenty seconds while aggressively revving his engine, Ajala angrily raced off continuing his search for the man through the streets of the city.
In an a phone interview just minutes after the attempted abduction the protester said, "It was very scary when they got me. I was expecting a hail of punches to the head because of the level of aggression. Ajala looked angry and very mean. " The protester has asked that we do not give out his full name for fear of reprisals but told us that he was inspired by the easter protest in Walthamstow a few weeks ago. He particularly made mention of how reading of the injury to one of the protesters on that day had wound him up and made him determined to carry on the campaign. "These people preach and in the name of God destroy lives," he said. " They are like gangsters with bibles"
