A couple of weeks ago I began to receive phone calls and emails asking me if I knew anything about a “revival” that was going on in Lakeland, Florida. Since that town is less than an hour away from me I decided it was important to find out what was happening in my own “back yard”, so to speak. I did some checking and found out that sure enough, revival meetings were taking place in Lakeland under the ministry of Todd Bentley. In fact, the services were being broadcast live on God TV. Therefore, after watching several services, I decided to attend a couple myself, and the following article deals with what I found out firsthand and the conclusions I have come to.
The
Dark Agenda Behind the Florida Outpouring.
The Florida outpouring that is racing around the globe at an unprecedented speed has an agenda. An agenda that is well hidden behind Christian sounding words and phrases to quell the fears of suspicions and discerning sheep. It is a dark agenda that has been planned for eternity and implemented with military precision. A plan to open you up to hidden wisdom, mystical experiences and spirit guides in preparation for the coming “paradigm shift.” It is a plan to raise up a New Breed who will discard the old and arise to violently lay hold of the New Order Kingdom in which the church will rule and reign over the earth. It sounds good doesn’t it? I mean it sounds plausible, why, it even sounds Christian. However, this teaching, thinly veiled in Christian terms, is identical in every way to what the occultists, Gnostics, New Agers and esoteric religions teach. However, just as we wrap a nasty pill in bacon to feed a dog his medicine, this teaching has been wrapped in something particularly tasty to make it easier to swallow.

It’s been very heavy on my heart lately about the news that is spreading regarding the Todd Bentley (Fresh Fire Ministries) event in Lakeland, Florida. Many are calling it a “revival” but it lacks many of the necessary hallmarks to earn that title. I’m reluctant to name names unless absolutely necessary, but I really felt to update you. realm of heaven. So when he says he went through the church roof he does'nt
physically mean he went through the roof. Its more like a near death experience

TODD BENTLEY AND THE FLORIDA REVIVAL EXPOSED
We are in the midst of a desperate hour. Many of you have heard of the so-called “revival” that has broken out in Lakeland, Florida under Todd Bentley. Perhaps some of you have even gone to it. Some of you are open to it. Some are unsure. And some are against it.
Indeed, this is a revival all right –but not a revival of holiness and righteousness and of the fear of God. It is a revival of Babylonian arts and counterfeit signs and wonders sent to deceive those who receive not the love of the truth.
It is important, however, to keep sounding the alarm since Bentley has mastered the art of deception, and he’s causing many saints to fall away from the faith.

Popoff was exposed as a fraud. Marjoe exposed himself, doing a documentary on his "ministry." Copycats? Marjoe was filmed in the 70's. Popoff in the 80's. Ask God about it.

Todd Bentleys, three part series Angelic Hosts. It is seriously one of the
most disturbing and dangerous things I have ever read. It seems that the more
I prayerfully look into Todd Bentley the deeper I am led into his dark world
of Gnosticism, mysticism, and the occult. My prayer for you is that you will
honestly examine the things he teaches and the manifestations present in his
ministry in the light of scripture.
In Todd Bentley’s Article Angelic Hosts Bentley issues the invitation
to eat from the Tree of Life. “I see angels bringing some of you to
the tree of life. Remember how God, in Genesis 3:24, sent the cherubim to
guard the way to the tree of life because man had sinned. God took Adam and
Eve out of the garden. But today the Lord wants to bring some of us into that
place where we taste the fruit of the tree of life. I want you to get involved

I found this clip and think that it speaks for itself. Bentley in recent days has responded to all the criticism and calimed that the emphasis is NOT on the angelic. I beg to differ.

As if it could get any more bizarre. I ran across this Todd Bentley audio clip in my internet travels and had to shake my head in disbelief and despair. If you had any doubt that Todd Bentley is a dangerous false prophet you need to take a look at this. Below is the actual quote from Bentley.

According to Todd Bentley, God is releasing a Sundar Singh type anointing of revelation to the church. However, is this something we should desire? Lets examine this in light of God’s Word which is the standard by which we are to judge.
Todd Bentley claims that “during this time of prayer that God took me in a vision to what I believed to be the Himalayan Mountains. I saw an Indian man with a turban on his head and heard the whisper of the Spirit say, “This is Sundar Singh. I am releasing anointing of revelation like this.” I had no communication with this old saint, nor did he say anything to me. The experience lasted only a moment….”
The Outpouring of New Age Doctrine in the Church.
The New Age religions, as well as Mystics, Gnostics, and Occultists believe that the Age of Pisces (which symbolized the age of our Lord Jesus Christ) will come to an end. With the arrival of the Aquarian Age, humanity will begin its ascent into the Spiritual Kingdom. It is believed that during the Piscean Age our essential duality was revealed (body and soul). The sign of Pisces is the linking of two fish which they believe symbolizes the linking of our body and soul. Jesus they believed was just a “pattern son” who showed us the way to fuse our lower nature with our soul to produce the Incarnate Christ-in-all. This evolution towards the incarnate Christ is called the Age of Aquarius. The goal of the New Age Movement along with the Mystics, Gnostics,and Occultists, has consistently been to usher in the Age of Aquarius when all will recognize 'the God within”.

Scripture also speaks of another angel that releases finances. I understand
that God will supply all my need according to His riches in glory (Phil. 4:19).
Do you know what that means? There are riches in glory because the earth is
the Lord’s and everything in it. He is the God who supplies our needs
according to His riches in glory. The bible even tells us that the silver
and gold are His. So when I need a financial breakthrough I don’t just
pray and ask God for my financial breakthrough. I go into intercession and
become a partner with the angels by petitioning the Father for the angels
that are assigned to getting me money: “Father, give me the angels in
heaven right now that are assigned to get me money and wealth. And let those
angels be released on my behalf. Let them go into the four corners of the
earth and gather me money. Let them gather my partners.”
Dear All,
I am sending out another alert on Todd Bentley since so many churches are sending people to get something from him and this stuff is fanning out all over the world. If you think that what Bentley is dishing out is from the Lord and people should have him to lay hands on them so they can get an "anointing" perhaps you had better view the following video first:

Bill Randles is right when he states that what we have here is a modern Simon the Sorcerer.

There is a difference
of saying someone is fired up or on fire and having an experience with fire,
Angels of fire, pillars of fire or the fire falling. These are two very different
concepts. After Bob Jones convinced Bentley that he could visit heaven at
any time, (he claims to go there daily), Bentley had escalating encounters
with angels and visits to heaven. No apostle ever taught how to go into a
trance and be transported away to heaven- this is the new age movements supernatural
power in the church among those who cannot discern the true gifts of the Spirit
and a counterfeit. Either he is inventing stories not caring about the truth,
or he is being visited by counterfeit spirits as angels of light which becomes
dangerous to him and others he is teaching.

Before we move on into examining the teachings of Bentley and the meetings in dept we need to pause and consider the Word of God's teaching on these supernatural matters.
The basis of some people’s Christianity is if a miracle takes place, it is sufficient evidence for them to believe it is from God. They never check it out or test it; something that God commands us to do. The Bible teaches us that Satan uses this method to deceive the naïve, the immature, and the ignorant to remove them from walking in the truth of the word. Someone who argues that miracles are from God 100 percent of the time is already open to deception. This becomes a major flaw from those who are willing to accept all miracles that happens is from God. To avoid testing is to neglect many of the Bibles commands for our safety. Jesus warns us about a movement in the last days that will be done by many coming in his name (Mt.24:5-6) and include miraculous signs taking place. Matthew 24:23-25: “Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe it. For false christ's and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” If a Christian neglects this they will be deceived.
