MITCHELL'S FELLOWSHIP CURSED WITH 'JOESONGS' - 4TH NOVEMBER
2006 {Taken from the original report by a former Chandler Door church member
and internet user 'chkx65'}

When I finally left 'The Door' and had to justify my leaving by
joining another church, one of things that struck me was the music. I can
remember thinking, "Wow. This is how the song is supposed to sound!"
The other thing I noticed about their music was the copyright information
posting on the bottom of the song word sheets. Postings such as "Vineyard
Music, use by permission only" or "So and So music, used with
permission" along with various ownership statements. Each song was
basically copyrighted or owned by some group or church.
I can remember the way the Chandler church would absolutely devistate and destroy praise music stolen from other organisations. Joe Camel {Campbell} would regularly bring in a cassette tape of some praise song. He would give the musicians one hour to learn it.
He always beat upon musicians and sound men. Musicians were always 'premadonna egomaniacs seeking the spotlight'. Soundmen were always 'materialistic lusters of expensive equipment'. Well, as a result, the Chandler church was very 'talent challenged'. Needless to say, the song in which the musicians tried to learn in one hour would be totally trashed. Once the song was learned that way it was forever set in concrete. If a musician spoke up about it, he or she was accused of perfectionism and told "We are not professionals here!"
As if being professional was a bad thing.
