Hardline fellowship evangelist and staunch Mitchellite, Ernie Toppin was sent by the fellowship into Santa Monica recently under the pretext of preaching revival. The California Foursquare church has reprtedly seen a mass exodus of souls after many were driven out by Mitchellite pastor Rob Scribner in an attempt to drag the chutch into ever closer ties with the Potters House.

Toppin has a record of loyalty to Mitchell which includes bleeding his tiny chruch in the U.K dry so that he cans end large donations to the mother churches. This resulted in him being given the chance to preach at a U.K conference and at Prescott's flagship conference despite him only being in the ministry for less that two years in an organisation of over 1,200 churches. Toppin also forced a full time wage out of the church making it look like he brought great revival there despite nearly destoying the church in the first place. He is known for his loud and vociferous praise of Mitchell and his infamous ' fellowship pattern'. Toppin is also known to ruthlessly attack those who leave the fellowship in a borderline violent anger.

Now the fellowship have sent him into Santa Monica to preach revival. In the fellowship, revival and revival preachers are notorious for making sure churches are aware of the fellowship policy and to report back to leaders on activity within the church. Toppin is an appropriate candidate from the fellowship's point of view as it seems there is paranoia about loyalty to Scribner and adherance to the fellowship rules. Toppin is very much the vocal enforcer of Mitchellism. He claims that those who attack the man of God may be struck down with insanity or even death and that someone can only stay submitted to God by staying submitted to the pastor. Toppin uses fear to a great degree having claimed to have had a vision of hell where a man was being repeatedly shot and could not die.

He is exactly the kind of man Mitchell wants preaching revival in the Californai church. Members of his old congregation may see things differently however. Many of the original church members left and one now suffers from metal trauma as a direct result of Toppin's abusive preaching. It would seem that the saints at Santa Monica are in for one hell of a ride.
