Miracles: Hope And Damnation.

CAN REINHARD BONNKE BE TRUSTED ?
On February 28, 2002 Benny Hinn had on his daily program This is your day“ his good friend and accomplice Reinhard Bonnke.
The topic of the day was a man raised from the death in Nigeria after having a revolutionary visit to heaven and to hell
The event happened on December 02, 2001 in a Nigerian town called Onithsa .According to Bonnke’s testimony and to the video they showed, titled “Raised fron the Dead” here is what happened.
The resurrected man Daniel Ekechuk a pastor who died on Friday November 30, 2001 in a car accident. And before he passed away and while he was giving his wife his last instructions two angels came and took him away, and showed Daniel, the paradise, and the city of God.
And then they brought him to hell where Daniel saw a banner reading “Welcome to Hell”
Why a banner and why would it read “Welcome to hell!”
While visiting hell Daniel said he saw people in anguish and one particular resident who could see him but not the angels alongside him , the man said “I stole money from my church, please let me go back and return the stolen money.”
Even a pastor embezzling from his church’s funds would not result inn losing salvation and being condemned to hell, would it?
This implies that if ever we are in a state of unconfessed sins and should die we would be sent “below” figuratively speaking
Then Daniel was told that he would be fulfilling the request of the rich man from the book of Matthew, but Daniel said he did not fully understand what it meant until he returned and read the bible on this incident in Luke 16
Would not a pastor of any denomination have had some biblical training and doctrine understanding to a level to have known the story of the rich man and Lazarus and in what gospel to find it?
Daniel was also told that he was brought back to earth because of the anointing resting of Reinhard Bonnke’s ministry.
According to Nnga Daniel’s wife God told her that the anointing carried by Reinhard was strong enough to raise her husband from the death.
So on that Sunday December 02, 200`, Nnga brought the coffin to “The Kingdom Life World Evangelism Church where Bonnke was preaching..
But because they did not want to scare the children they took the decease resting in his opened coffin in the basement of the church.
They took the body out of the coffin and laid it on a table. And when Bonnke in the church upstairs screamed “In the name of Jesus” Daniel gasped for air, but he was still motionless, so for a few hours they massaged his body for his arms and legs were rigid. They finally carried him upstairs and placed him under a ceiling fan.! End of the Fairy tale
Their report claims Daniel was raised from the death three days after he passed away, how can that be he supposedly died Friday and was resurrected Sunday that makes two days.
When the Lord called forth Lazarus from the grave he did not need human intervention, why would Jesus need help now?
I made some research and could not find a single trace of the hospitals or the medical centers they showed us on the video.
Bonnke proudly declared that the local paper “The Post Express” had published an article on the event, I searched the archives of the paper and again no trace of the event was found. That newspaper is connected with The New York times, if the story was true don’t you think they would have published in the U.S. and then worldwide..
The video showed us a corpse lying in a coffin but with such tricky camera angles that no one could really identify the person, they showed no photos of the car or of the other persons who were wounded, no word on the man who accompanied Daniel in the car. The road accident which caused the pastor’s death was said to have caused the steering wheel to have smashed into Daniel’s chest and his face to go into the windscreen.
When the film showed the pastor on the table having been taken out of the coffin there did not appear to be any damage to the body, this was prior to the miraculous resurrection.why not?
.Daniel’s uncle whose name is Emmanuel Ojkonknwu is probably related to Mike Okonknwu the president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria..
Of course Bonnke’s ministry sells the video of that scam for a gift of at least $35.00,
When I saw the contents of the program especially the part where they mentioned that some parts of Daniel’s body was rigid, I immediately tought of “catalepsy” . I looked in to the Webster’s dictionary and found the following description:
Catalepsy: A condition in which consciousness and feeling seem to be temporary lost and the muscles become rigid.
I contacted “Potential Technology.com a web site specialized in catalepsy I asked them if it was possible for a man to put himself into a cataleptic stage..
They replied: by first defining catalepsy as an inhibition of voluntary movement typical of deep trance states. and they added
“The answer to your question is yes, you can become cataleptic. It is usually achieved through dissociation, deep trances, meditation, etc…You may stay as long as you choose and to come out of it give yourself a simple count and self-suggestion that sensation is returning progressively. And when an individual comes back to his normal state, his muscles need to be massaged in order to get their original flexibility back. .
I have a problem with reconciling this entire episode with my understanding of Luke 16 reading. The final verses are in effect saying:
“The rich man realizing Lazarus could not help him or even warn his brothers asked that a dead man return from hell as this would cause them to repent and believe. Jesus indicates that this would not be the case and the people would still be convinced and turn.” What Jesus is really saying is that it would be à waste of time evn sending a dead man back, so it will not happen..
Don’t you think that in all fairness, if God had decided to impart further revelation and send a dead man back, He would not be obliged to ensure that à dead man would have been returned for each previous generation?
Reinhard Bonnke has the reputation of holding massive crusades in African countries, according to Bonnke crowds ranging from 250,000 to one million are attending his meetings, and hundreds of thousands are saved and fill the printed card. You will be flabbergasted to read the following message I received. in August 2002
Hi, I read with great interest the figure given for the number of people saved. From what I have heard from my brother Eho who is à member of the church that organized the crusade, 250,000 cards were indeed printed, but only 2,500 were filled. Take into account I was there myself and would agree with this figure. I was dismayed when I heard it proclaimed on TV that the number was much higher. I thought it was just an error but it was on the website, somebody did not do their homework.
Signed Gituma Nturibi from Nairobi Kenya
Nothing is so symptomatic of the current void in Nigeria and other African countries social life as the gatherings of hundreds of thousands of men and women for religious revivals, to receive divine healings, prophetic revelation and more importantly receive a financial blessing..
There are scenes of mass hysteria, hundreds of thousands of men and women caught up in a mesmerized atmosphere, chanting, stomping, falling , dancing, shaking, gesticulating to the hypnotic suggestions of the spiritual hypnotist-the mesmerizer-the pastor. Dressed in a smart business suit he struts across the stage, microphone in hand , preaching the material merits of a good Christian life
Their message is simple, career success, wealth, social status, good health, but why is it that the promised prosperity never comes but to à few that are part of the leader’s clique.
If their message on prosperity was biblical and from God, then how can one explain the Enron tragedy?
How many Bible-believing Christians were working for Enron and lost all their money?
I am not saying that God is a, liar I am saying that the name it claim it prosperity teaching is nothing but a fraud, and that men like Hinn and Bonnke have no fear of God, and they need to be exposed for what they are scammers who will do anything for a buck, Hinn’s and Bonnke’s r ministry serve the sole purpose of defrauding innocent but gullible individuals.
