What is "The Elijah List?

 The Elijah List is a non-denominational Christian prophetic website created by Steve Shultz in 1997 with around 131,000 subscribers to their mailing list.

Who is Steve Shultz?

This is Steve and his wife Derene Shultz.

Steve Shultz is the founder and web designer of the Elijah List website, this is what inspired him to create the Elijah List website [1] "Back in the early 1990's, while still working in the business world --- BEFORE the words "Internet" or "World Wide Web" were being used by the average consumer, I was given a word by a prophet in Texas. He said to me, "You will be connecting the prophets by computer."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I thought, "What's that about? Nothing like that is happening now. Not even anything close."

Though he claimed that he had contact with this so-called prophet in texas it would apear after he started to have these dreams, he states "I had experienced some prophetic
dreams and had given one or two prophetic words but not much more than that. Over time, the Lord began to put me more and more into the prophetic "stream" and my prophesying started being increased."

 This is what the Lord said about strong delusion, 2 Thessalonians - Chapter 2:7 - 14 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He [fn] who now restrains [will do so] until He [fn] is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.The coming of the [lawless one] is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

They work in unrightousness God sends them strong delusion because they are dissobediant, they believe a lie then the truth, that men may be saved by the gospel.

Because Steve Shults receaved these so-called dreams and messages from false prophets he has decided not to listen to God himself, as he said "I began to take prophetic courses, and was trained through CI (Christian International out of Florida) headed up by Bishop Bill Hamon; however, I am not the same Steve Schultz who was on staff at CI. (That has confused a few folks since there are now two Steve Shultz's in full-time prophetic ministry.)"

Steve Shults had been indoctrinated by Christian International who Bill Hamon states [2] "Steve Shultz has blessed the Christian world with sound wisdom concerning the voice of the Lord.

I can speak with authority concerning the work ability of the principles Steve presents, speaking from 55 years of prophetic ministry, writing several books on the prophetic, pioneering the Prophetic Movement, and training more than 250,000 saints in hearing and ministering the voice of the Lord. Unfortuanatly for Steve Shultz he lacks decernment if he would of looked into Bill Hamons past involvement with heretic C. Peter Wagner who was under the influence of John Wimber, [3] looking at Bill Hamon we find that he made numerous false prophercies here are some examples, The Present War of the Church

Note: This vision was included in the 1997 Word of the Lord booklet. We are reprinting it here because of its continued relevance. I sense that in the past four years the Church has won part of this war in the spiritual realm; however, more intercession and spiritual warfare are needed.

In 1992, God gave me a prophetic vision of the Third World War that the devil has planned. Since then God has expanded on the vision and given me some more insight. I have preached and prophesied this message in several nations so that we can be prepared. Basically the Lord said He is going to work mercy until the end of 2002. After that, if the Church and government of America has not turned the nation back to God, then He is going to remove His blessings and protection.

Please notice that this nation was supposed to receive God's Mercy until the end of 2002. This makes Hanson either a false prophet or God goofed because of the horrendeous attack in NY that took the lives of 5000 people on Sept. 11, 2001, which just happens to be the greatest casuality loss in the last century. Even the world wars did not have that many casualties in one day.

In the vision, I saw the evil spirit that has arisen every so often in men and nations with Satan's ambition to overcome every nation and rule the world. Every so often a person arises with that spirit behind him to take over the world. We had that with Hitler. We've had that down through the ages. The devil wants to take over this world. He thinks he owns it, but he doesn't. It belongs to God. This spirit will soon arise in China, the Islamic nations and a couple of existing communist nations. These nations have plans to become allies in this coming world war in their single objective of ruling the world, similar to how Germany, Japan, and Italy became allies in World War II. Negotiations have been taking place behind closed doors since 1992. The ensuing conflict will become known as the East/West War. The Eastern nations' goal is to overthrow the European Common Market nations and then take over America and the rest of the world. Russia and America will become allies with the European Common Market nations.

Hamon prophesied falsely again because it was America that was attacked first not the European Common Market nations. And China is currently offering their help in combatting terrorism with America, as is Russia.

[4] Steve Shultz said "Later, I was invited to be on the pastoral staff of my local church in Vancouver, WA. Eventually, invitations to speak other places began to come in. One day in the Spring of 1997, I sat in my living room, playing on the internet. I started trying to find some encouraging prophetic words to send to a few friends. I emailed some words I had found --- once or twice, each time manually typing emails of my friends in the "TO:" slot.

Then I thought, I wonder if I could make a list of all my friends? So I read up on it and made my one-time list of 30 friends and sent the first LIST out, hoping my friends would enjoy getting some encouraging prophetic words."
